Family Trees

After learning about how our families are different (& alike!) we made our own family trees!

Election Day 2012

Since it was election day this past Tuesday and to teach the children how an adult makes a decision on who to vote for, we had an election "Montessori Style". 

We tasted 3 flavors of ice cream; vanilla, chocolate and strawberry.

 Even Mrs. Way joined in to taste and vote!

 We heard arguments for vanilla....

 chocolate....

 and strawberry!

 Then, we all got to cast our vote for which flavor we thought should win 1st place.

 Tallied up the votes....

 And while we enjoyed the leftover ice cream.....

We heard the results....Strawberry was the most popular flavor of ice cream!!!
