Seed Tasting

After we investigated our pumpkin, we tasted pumpkin seeds...we got mixed results! It was kind of a split 6-6 on who liked them & who did not!

Pumpkin Investigation

We investigated pumpkins this week.

We used a medium sized one...

We measured how many cubes tall it was...

We predicted whether it would float or sink...

(All the kids said sink so Mrs Turner voted for float...the kids won!)

We gathered the seeds and counted them...

There were 500 seeds in the medium pumpkin!

Our results!

Then we made it into a jack o' lantern

And made it glow!

Spider Attack

If you've been in our room recently then you may have noticed that we have been attacked by spiders & there are webs on our walls!

We used a placemat that was textured and made rubbings over it

Then we made our own spiders

Pumpkin Painting

ASU art day

We were really excited when the ASU art class came by to show us some art projects. We made bat origami & a moveable ghost.

They also read fall books with us before they left.
