We had an exciting morning watching Annie, Jr. performed by the VPA 4th, 5th and 6th graders! It was a long performance but we were the BEST group there! We didn't wiggle or talk and followed the directions we were given-guess we are ready for 1st grade now! It was really neat to see several former Montessori students who were performing and then several younger ones who were in the audience along with us.
I think the biggest hit was the fact that there is a real dog in it. That was what our group has talked about since we returned:)
(**Sorry for the bad picture-it was too dark in there! This is the complete cast at the end when we were clapping for them. There are several on the left side that didn't make it into the picture-they were "New York" people on Broadway. As we were arriving and getting settled, several teachers pointed out that they were really impressed by what they had watched last week when Matt Cavenaugh was there and worked with the cast. The performers did such a wonderful job and seemed to have so much confidence in their abilities on stage.)
