Autumn is coming!

 To find out what color the tree outside our window will turn in the fall, we gathered some leaves, shredded them up...

 Added rubbing alcohol to them, mixed it well.

 then cut a coffee filter into a strip and hung it down into the cup just so it touched the leaf-alcohol mixture and we are going to watch and see what color moves up the strip!

 Updated: it turned a yellow color so we will be watching the tree to see if the experiment worked!
