Christmas Party 2015

What a great time we had at The North Pole and lunch at Burger King! Seeing Santa was a fun surprise to throw into our field trip too! 

Nutcracker 2015

We were all so excited to have the opportunity to see over very own Kinley in the Foundation of Arts' Nutcracker. We also recognized other familiar faces in the school performance.

Everyone did an amazing job presenting their first school projects. I really enjoyed seeing their personalities shine through their presentations!

Continent of the Month: Asia

During the month of October we learned about Asia. We ended our month with special guest Sara Land, Payton's Mom who graciously brought in rice from Asia for us to taste test! She also brought along small items from Asia including a musical instrument.

Our First Field Trip Together!

We had a great time together at Fair Haven Farm in Trumann! The weather was perfect for exploring the farm. 

Goodbye...

Although I'm not their mother
I cared for them each day
I cuddled, sang and read to them
And watched them as they played.


I saw each new accomplishment
I helped them grow and learn
I understood their language
I listened with concern.


They came to me for comfort
And I kissed away their tears
They proudly showed their work to me
I gave the loudest cheers!


No, I'm not their mother
But my role was just as strong
I nurtured them and kept them safe
Though maybe not for long.


And now the time has come
When we will have to part
But I know each child I cared for
IS FOREVER IN MY HEART!
