Post-Testing Fun Afternoon!

Thank you parents for sending the treats for us! We enjoyed them and then had fun playing outside (we were just so glad we got to go outside and play!)

The Country Bunny and the Golden Shoes

Every Easter, Mrs. Way reads this book to the kindergarten class. It is a very special book that used to belong to her mother. The kids always love looking at her bunnies, the golden shoes and the special egg.

Thank you, Mrs. Way! We loved the story.

ASU Farm (aka the post with tons of pictures!)

I have no idea what order these pictures are in-i just added all of them that had a child in them! Enjoy!!

We had fun petting the animals and riding on the hayride. Even enjoyed being serenated by the kids and their made-up song:)

Egg Show and Tell

Every student was given an egg to fill for show and tell. The only rule was: it had to fit inside the egg!
When it was their turn, they shook their egg and 3 friends got to try to guess what was in the egg.

Very creative kids!!!!

Flowered Snacks

Ella J and her grandmother, Mrs. Rusher, made some flowers and brought us treats to eat! Thank you for them!! They were a hit!!

Oviparous/Non-oviparous animals

We have been learning about animals that hatch from eggs. These are some that we brought to school for us to decide which group to put them in. These are oviparous animals-they hatch from eggs: These are non-oviparous animals-they do not hatch from eggs.

We have also enjoyed watching the eagles online as they were hatching in their nest. We have learned alot about eagles and oviparous animals this year!

Eggs Full of Sound

We listened to eggs and then matched what we "thought" was in them. We were really surprised!! We had to choose from: marshmellows, rice, beans, marbles, dice, toothpicks, thread, cotton, key, paper clips, macaroni and pennies.
Fun activity using eggs!!
