Fire Safety

This month, we have been talking about fire safety. Today, we had some important visitors...firefighters!!! We learned about fire, what they wear & got to look at their truck...we are now prepared in case of a fire!

Science Experiment

We gathered sugar, salt, hot cocoa mix, coffee, cheese & oil....added water & stirred.  We discovered what dissolved & what did not!

ASU Art class visit

We got to participate in 2 really neat art activities when the Art for teachers ASU class came to visit. We made spider webs & used printmaking to make a spider picture.

Columbus Day

We have learned all about Christopher Columbus this week. Where he was born, which king & queen gave him 3 ships to use, what their names were, what he found , etc. I do think they were most shocked when we talked about how they found their way: using a compass & the stars....one student askes why they didn't just ask SIRI!!!! Love kindergarteners!!!

Science Experiment

Today we learned all about solid, liquid & gas....by making floats!! First we put a solid: ice cream in our cup

Then we added our liquid: sprite or root beer....

When combined, the fizz made a gas.

And then we all enjoyed the treat!!

Bo is 6!!!
