Open House

Thank you to everyone who came to open house at the Montessori School! We always enjoy visiting with parents and presenting the lessons your child has worked so hard on.

Jonesboro Fire Department

The Jonesboro Fire Department were kind enough to come visit us. They talked about their fire gear, their truck and fire safety tips. We are always grateful that they take time out of their work day to visit the Montessori School.

September Artist

Each month for the remainder of the school year we learn about a different artist, look at their lives, their artwork and create some of our own art inspired by that particular artist. 

For the month of September we have started to learn about Wassily Kandinsky. Born in Russia he was one of the first recognized abstract artists who loved using bright colors. Using Kandinsky's painting, Squares with Concentric Circles (as seen here) we created our own "Kandisnky circles" which will be completed and on display during open house in October.
